Membership
Membership of BICA is open to anyone, whether they live in the Bend of Islands, own land in the Bend of Islands or are just interested in BICA and the ELZ (Environmental Living Zone). As a member you will receive our BICA Newsletter, BICA Calendar, BICA News Sheets and other notifications of upcoming events and important issues. You are also welcome to join us at our regular activities.
Annual membership subscription rates are:
Single membership $20.00 Family membership $30.00 Concession membership $10.00
If you wish to join, please complete the form below. By doing so, you agree to the membership conditions outlined on this page.
Your application will be considered at our next BICA Committee meeting and, if successful, you will be notified and asked to pay the subscription amount.

Membership conditions
I agree to support the Purposes of BICA which are:
(a) To preserve, nurture and encourage the diversity of the native flora and fauna of the area and its natural beauty, consistent with essential community needs, including fire precaution;
(b) To nurture and encourage the diversity of the local flora and fauna and to promote community understanding of the local ecology and how to live in harmony with it through sharing of knowledge and experiences;
(c) To associate and collaborate with other organisations whose aims are consistent with these objectives and to support, where appropriate, conservation activities in other areas
(d) To act for and on behalf of the membership individually or collectively in authorities, other organisations and individuals within the framework of these objectives and the BICA Constitution.
